The Match-Works slogan is "it's all about You" and we mean it. We personally interview all potential clients in a private one on one meeting, in order to understand each specific search. There are many companies out there that use a computer generated program to find a match for you. How can a computer understand your likes and dislikes? Naturally, we are all looking for someone as unique as we are. It takes a real live person that really listens and comprehends your needs before they can truly try to find your match.
I started working in the business world some 30 years ago, then 22 years ago I was bit by the acting bug on 21 Jumpstreet and worked my way through most of the series that went through town and many commercials. You may still see my face on some commercials and small acting parts filmed in and around Vancouver. 8 years ago I realized that my forte was working with people and I missed the business world, so I launched into print publication, advertising and eventually radio.
Along the Way I acquired networking, marketing, promotional, business and more importantly people skills. To top it off I am an incorragable romantic, a social butterfly and have great instinct. Altogether you have the makings of a perfect candidate for a successful matchmaker. Did I mention that I love my job!
At the moment I also co-host "The Relationship Show" online with John Barson, delving into all aspects of relationships.
